  • Ground ginger = 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder = 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Tomatoes chopped = 2 
  • Water = 1/2 cup 
  • Salt (to taste)

For the Pepper Choka Twist:

  • Red bell peppers chopped = 2 
  • Hot peppers (finely chopped) = 2-3 
  • Red onion (finely chopped) = 1/2 
  • Garlic minced = 2 cloves 
  • Olive oil = 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro leaves (for garnish)

How To Make Murtani

Step-by-step instructions:

Step 1

Mix yoghurt, eggs, spices. Let the meat soak for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Cook onions until golden. Cook marinated meat until soft.

Step 3

In a pan, cook spices, ginger, and tomatoes until they smell nice.

Add water and salt. Let it simmer for a tasty sauce.
